Rotuma Visit
A team from the National Council for Building a Better Fiji (NCBBF) is leaving for Rotuma this Friday to explain the draft of the Peoples Charter for Change, Peace and Progress.
Karalaini Waqanidrola, one of the team leaders said the group is traveling by boat and will arrive on the island on Monday morning. The journey takes around 36 hours.
“In the five days we are there we are going to go on house to house consultations. But, instead of going into every household, we are going to target families. There are about six to seven families in a village. In Rotuma there are seven districts and about thirty one villages and four settlements.
“On Friday the fourteenth, there we will be holding the peoples forum at Ahao in the evening which will be launched by their own Rotuma Island Chairman, Mr. Tarterani Rigamoto”
